the Orlando Hurricanes by a score of 1 to 0.
Sale(7-7) was indeed brilliant as he hand-cuffed the Orlando offense. He
allowed just 6 hits and no walks in 9 innings lowering his ERA to 3.84.
Nevada won despite being out-hit by Orlando 6 hits to 2.
Clayton Kershaw(8-4) was the losing pitcher. He was stingy with the
baserunners, allowing just 2 hits and 1 walk in 9 innings.
Sale was humble when questioned about his performance, 'Well, I felt pretty
confident in my pitches this afternoon. But, I had great support behind me
and I just threw what was called. That was an extremely well called game!'
