Miguel Cabrera smashed 2 homeruns as the Lansdale Red Beards 4 topped the
PonceDeLeon Crackers in 10 innings by a score of 9 to 8 at Rogers Centre
'13.
The game was deadlocked at 8 after nine full innings. Lansdale finally pulled
the game out in the 10th inning. Cabrera blasted a solo shot (his 19th of
the season) resulting in an exciting win for Lansdale and a wild post-game
celebration by the home town fans. Lansdale ended up with 15 hits for the
game while PonceDeLeon had 11.
The victory was credited to Jamey Wright(2-1) who went 1 inning, allowing no
runs. Scott Rice(0-3) took the loss in relief. He gave up 1 hit and no walks
in 1 inning.
'The ball was jumping off my bat' Cabrera said. 'I didn't do anything
differently, it's the same way I always approach the game.'
