One run was the difference at Target Field '13 as the Lansdale Red Beards 4
defeated the BOSTON BEES 4 to 3.
Jon Lester(6-7) pitched well enough to earn the win. He went 6 innings
allowing 8 hits and 2 walks. The BOSTON offense proved no trouble in the
bottom of the 9th.
Lester got help from Glen Perkins who earned his 16th save. Zack Greinke(6-9)
suffered the loss. 'He gutted it out' Red Beard said of Lester. 'I was very
impressed by his tenacity.'
