Adam Jones ripped 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the BOSTON BEES topped the
Lansdale Red Beards 4 by a score of 4 to 3 at Rogers Centre '13.
Jones enjoyed a fine day at the plate. He smashed a two-run homer in the 1st
inning and smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' (his 13th of the season) in the
6th inning. Lansdale had a chance to come back in the 9th but they came up
short.
The win went to Jeanmar Gomez(7-8) who allowed 2 runs in 5 innings. Sergio
Romo got the save, his 25th. A.J. Griffin(11-9) was given the loss.
'It felt really nice to get this win,' Gomez said. 'I kind of dictated the
game. It's what I get paid to do. It worked out this time.'
