Elvis Andrus smacked 2 homeruns and A.J. Griffin carried a no-hitter into the
6th inning at Rogers Centre '13 where the Lansdale Red Beards 4 beat the
Nevada Nukes by the score of 3 to 0.
Griffin(16-9) contributed a very nicely pitched game. He didn't allow much,
just 1 hit and 1 walk in 6 innings. The right-handed Griffin lost his no-hit
bid when Ian Desmond singled with two outs in the 6th inning. Nevada was
out-hit by Lansdale, 5 hits to 2.
Griffin got help from Glen Perkins who earned his 33rd save. The loss was
charged to Chris Sale(18-16). He served up 3 homeruns in his 8 innings.
The winning ways continue for Lansdale. They now have a record of 9-1 in
