Third baseman Miguel Cabrera smashed 3 homeruns as the Chicago South Siders
ballclub embarrassed the Slamming Will Not Stink by the count of 13 to
3.
Cabrera was a one-man wrecking crew. He cracked a two-run shot in the 5th
inning, hit a 'grand salami' to the delight of his teammates in the 6th
inning and cracked a solo homerun (his 20th of the season) in the 8th inning.
Slamming was out-hit by Chicago, 12 hits to 7.
A.J. Burnett(2-3) went 5 and 2/3 innings allowing 2 runs for the victory. The
losing pitcher was Yu Darvish(5-9). He served up 3 homeruns in his 5
innings.
'The ball was jumping off my bat' Cabrera said. 'I didn't do anything
differently, it's the same way I always approach the game.'
