Troy Tulowitzki connected with a 'big fly' and had 4 RBI as the PonceDeLeon
Crackers beat the Killer Rabbits of Caerbannog by a score of 12 to 3.
Killer Rabbits never recovered after PonceDeLeon took the lead in the bottom
of the 2nd inning scoring 2 runners on 1 hit. The key at-bat was by
Tulowitzki, who brought a roar from the partisan Marlins Park '13 fans when
he lifted one out of the park for a two run home run (his 2nd of the season).
PonceDeLeon simply wore out the Killer Rabbits pitching staff, scoring in 6
different innings.
Stephen Strasburg(2-1) picked up the victory, allowing 3 runs in 8 and 2/3
innings. The losing pitcher was Jaime Garcia(0-3). He was knocked around by
PonceDeLeon, allowing 7 hits and 3 walks in 2 and 1/3 innings.
