Matt Garza delivered 6 solid innings at Dodger Stadium '13 as the Killer
Rabbits of Caerbannog beat the Teaneck Tornado 1 to 0.
Garza(1-5) gave Killer Rabbits a solid outing. He gave up just 1 hit and 2
walks in 6 innings. Garza chalked up 7 strikeouts improving his ERA from
5.68 to 4.91. Teaneck made it exciting in the 9th, but they were unable to
push the needed runs across.
Garza got relief help from Mariano Rivera who gained credit for his 21st save.
Gio Gonzalez(13-10) absorbed the loss. He was pinned with the loss despite
not allowing an earned run in his 6 and 2/3 innings of work.
The Killer Rabbits ballclub's record now stands at 60-80. With the loss
