Arky Vaughan jacked one out of the ballyard and had 4 RBI and Tom Hall reeled off a total of 13 strikeouts at Dunn Field '20 as the CorporateTowne Sellouts belted the St. Louis Browns by the count of 15 to 3.

Vaughan helped send the fans home happy. He doubled which scored a run in the 1st inning and lost the ball over the fence for three runs (his 7th of the season) in the 5th inning. CorporateTowne provided plenty of action in the 4th inning when they had 7 runs on 6 hits. CorporateTowne had 19 hits for the afternoon while St. Louis had 7.

Hall(5-5) picked up the victory, allowing 3 runs in 8 and 2/3 innings. Kirby Higbe(3-6) absorbed the loss. He was hit hard and gave up 11 hits and 2 walks in 3 and 2/3 innings.

Everyone seemed to enjoy the performance of Hall - except St. Louis. Joe Allen lamented, 'He just was 'on' this afternoon. He was keeping our guys off balance all game. A fine game by a good strikeout pitcher - makes it a fun game for the hometown fans - unfortunately we were the visitors!'
