The Baltimore Bohemians toppled the inept Bunny goes to Glendale by a 6 to 2 score at Braves Field '48.

Baltimore came up with the deciding runs in the top of the 8th inning with 3 runs on 3 hits. Babe Herman opened up the inning nicely when he banged out a single. After an out was recorded, Willie McCovey came to the plate and singled. Turkey Stearnes then tripled knocking home two runners. One out later, Woody English stepped in and he was walked intentionally. Jim Fregosi stepped into the box and drew a walk to load the bases. Ken Boswell added to the outburst and drew a walk scoring the final run of the inning. Baltimore rapped out 8 hits for the afternoon.

The winning pitcher was Randy Johnson(6-0) who allowed 2 runs in 7 innings. Frank Dipino recorded the save, his 2nd. The losing pitcher was Dazzy Vance(1-5).

Baltimore now has a record of 15-11. Not able to get much going in recent weeks, Bunny goes to is 1-9 of late and now has an overall record of 9-17.
