In a game for the baseball purist, Eddie Plank(6-17) and Clayton
Kershaw(11-10) squared off in a tense pitching duel, Crow's Nest club finally
emerged victorious over Baltimore Bohemians, 2 to 1.
Crow's Nest brought 2 runs across the plate in the top of the 2nd inning when
they had 3 base hits. That early scoring was all that Plank needed. After
the 3rd inning, neither team was able to score.
Billy Wagner gained credit for his 24th save.
