Rocky Colavito launched 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI and Dazzy Vance allowed Bunny
to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game as the Bunny goes to Glendale
defeated the Baltimore Bohemians by the score of 6 to 3 at Shea Stadium
'71.
Colavito was a seemingly constant irritant to the hometown fans as he provided
much of the offense for the visitors. He cracked a two-run shot in the 4th
inning and blasted a solo shot (his 17th of the season) in the 6th inning.
Both teams ended up with 11 hits on the afternoon.
The victory went to Vance(11-13) who went the distance allowing 3 runs. Randy
Johnson(10-12) ended up with the loss. He allowed a few too many baserunners
giving up 9 hits and 2 walks in 6 and 1/3 innings.
