Catcher Josh Gibson ripped a bases loaded blast as the Montreal Poutine
defeated the Thermal Wastelanders 8 to 3 at Fenway Park '71.
Gibson enjoyed a fine day at the plate. He launched a Grand Slam homerun (his
36th of the season) in the 1st inning and stroked a base-hit in the 5th
inning. Atley Donald pitched a perfect ninth to earn his 2nd save.
Bruce Kison(9-3) got the win allowing 3 runs in 6 and 1/3 innings. Roger
Clemens(16-10) was the losing pitcher. He allowed Montreal 6 runs in 4
innings of work.
