In a tight game it was the Cerebral Snotknockers 7, the Y Tu Mama Tambien 5 at
Fenway Park '71.
Obviously without his best stuff, Bill Butland(3-1) still hung on to pick up
the win. He gave up 10 hits and 1 walk in 7 innings and was touched for 3
homeruns. Y Tu Mama had 11 hits in the game while Cerebral had 8, but
Cerebral had the more timely hits.
Horacio Pina earned his 1st save. Joel Pineiro(1-4) ended up with the loss.
He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 5 runs in 3 and 2/3 innings.
'It's been a rough ride lately, but this was a good win for us' said Uncle
Rowser, 'Maybe this will put us back on track.'
