Poosey Ridge Ridgerunners broke the deadlock in their last at bats, pulling
out a 2 to 1 win over the Y Tu Mama Tambien and sending their hometown fans
home smiling.
The deciding run was scored by Poosey Ridge in the 9th. After an out was
recorded, Richie Ashburn tripled. One out later, Joe Jackson stepped in and
he lined a base-hit resulting in an exciting win for Poosey Ridge and a
raucous post-game celebration by the home town fans. The game was a
scoreless duel until the 8th inning.
The victory was credited to Ad Liska(5-5) who went 1/3 of an inning, allowing
no runs. Eric Gagne(3-9) took the loss in relief. He surrendered 1 run and 2
hits in 2/3 of an inning.
