Second baseman Billy Herman had 3 base hits and Tom Hall racked up an
impressive total of 10 strikeouts as the Cerebral Snotknockers beat the Y Tu
Mama Tambien by a score of 2 to 1.
Hall(13-5) was on top of his game. He surrendered only 5 hits and no walks in
9 innings. Y Tu Mama had a chance to come back in the 9th but they came up
short.
Guy Hecker(5-14) was hit with the loss. He pitched 7 innings and surrendered
9 hits and 1 walk. When asked about his strikeout total for the game, Hall
offered, 'The fan's really got into it. It is fun to see them tally up the
strikeout totals up there in the stands. Fortunately, I kept them busy this
afternoon - of course, it would be all for naught without the 'W'.'
