Barry Bonds slammed 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI and Bob Porterfield pitched a
complete game shutout at Fenway Park '71 as the Pattaya BS16 BlueMoose1 beat
the Y Tu Mama Tambien 8 to 0.
Bonds provided much of the offense. He smacked a three-run homer in the 1st
inning, slapped a base-hit in the 2nd inning, doubled in the 4th inning and
smashed a solo-shot out of the park (his 39th of the season) in the 9th
inning. Pattaya had 12 hits for the afternoon.
Porterfield(10-16) went the distance for the shutout. Joel Pineiro(14-7) took
the loss. He allowed 7 hits and 5 walks in 4 and 1/3 innings. 'Actually, I
didn't feel that comfortable at the plate today' Bonds said after the game.
