John Tamargo collected 4 RBI with one swing of the bat and Bill Stoneman
allowed Lord Kelvin to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game at Minute
Maid Field '05 as the Absolute Zeros beat the Beantown Midnight Riders by the
count of 7 to 2.
Tamargo enjoyed a fine day at the plate. He launched a rocket shot out of the
park for a Grand Slam homerun (his 1st of the season) in the 3rd inning and
laced a base-knock resulting in a run in the 4th inning. Absolute rapped out
9 hits for the afternoon.
Stoneman(1-2) was the winner allowing 2 runs for the game. The loss was
charged to Walt Masterson(2-2). He allowed a few too many baserunners giving
up 5 hits and 4 walks in 2 and 2/3 innings.
