Frank Gabler had a strong outing at Camden Yards '05 where the Humble Hopefuls
beat the inept Crow's Nest team by the score of 1 to 0.
The game's only run was scored in the bottom of the 5th inning. Crow's Nest
threatened in the 9th but their rally came up short.
Gabler(4-2) went 5 and 1/3 innings allowing no runs for the victory. Gabler
got relief help from Don McMahon who gained credit for his 16th save. Howie
Pollet(3-4) was given the loss.
Humble continued their winnings ways improving their record to a division
leading 37-17. They are 8-2 in their last ten games. Still in a bad slump,
with this loss, Crow's Nest is 1-9 lately and 24-30 on the year.
