Carney Lansford went deep and had 3 RBI at Minute Maid Field '05 where the
Beachmont Storm beat the Hell's Kitchen Punishers 11 to 8.
Beachmont set the tone of the game in the first inning with 2 runs on 4 hits.
Mike Kreevich started the inning off right when he doubled. Hugh Duffy came
to the plate and doubled which scored a run. Honus Wagner then lined a
single scoring the final run of the inning. For the game Beachmont out-hit
Hell's Kitchen 15 to 11.
The victory went to Mark Davis(3-6) who went 3 and 2/3 innings, allowing no
runs. Davis got help from Mariano Rivera who was credited with his 12th save.
Kirk Rueter(1-5) was charged with the loss. He allowed 8 hits and 2 walks
