Jack Pfiester came through with a solid 9 innings as the Gadsden Bears
outscored the reeling Barnacular Spectacular 4 to 1.
In the bottom of the 3rd inning Gadsden scored 3 runs with the help of 4 hits.
That early scoring held up. Barnacular proved to be no trouble in the 9th.
The victory was credited to Pfiester(6-6) who went the distance, allowing 1
run. Mike Krukow(4-5) was the losing pitcher. He pitched 6 and 1/3 innings
