Third baseman Ken Caminiti cracked 2 homeruns at Busch Stadium '05 where the
Daisy Hill Blockheads beat the Jive Turkeys 12 to 3.
Caminiti was a source of great heartache for the Jive faithful all day. He
just kept pounding out hits! He lifted one out of the park for a two run home
run in the 6th inning and quieted the crowd by clouting a Grand Slam (his 7th
of the season) in the 7th inning. For the game Daisy Hill out-hit Jive 15 to
11.
Mudcat Grant(7-5) went 7 and 2/3 innings allowing 3 runs for the win. The loss
was charged to Catfish Hunter(9-7). He allowed a few too many baserunners
giving up 11 hits and 2 walks in 6 and 2/3 innings.
