Willie Mays rocketed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Kenesaw Curse #4 defeated
the Plutonium Rooters 6 to 1 at Mack Park (NeL).
Mays had a good day at the plate. He smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' in the
2nd inning and cleared the fences for a two-run home run (his 8th of the
season) in the 5th inning. Kenesaw had 10 hits for the afternoon while
Plutonium had 7.
Dean Chance(1-0) got the win allowing 1 run in 7 and 2/3 innings. Chance got
help from Dave Smith who was credited with his 2nd save. Joel Pineiro(1-1)
was the loser. He allowed 4 homeruns in 4 innings of work.
