Ed Walsh was able to finish what he started and was credited with a complete
game at Petco Park '05 as the Beantown Philosophers beat the Mojave Camelini
2 to 1.
Mojave never recovered after Beantown took the lead in the bottom of the 4th
inning scoring one runner. Mojave made it exciting in the 9th, but they were
unable to push the needed runs across.
The victory went to Walsh(3-1) who went the distance allowing 1 run. Ed
Reulbach(1-3) absorbed the loss. He pitched 8 innings giving up 5 hits and 5
walks.
