Right fielder Babe Herman had 4 hits and 2 RBI as the Barn Stormers defeated
the Daisy Hill Blockheads 7 to 1 at Dunn Field '20.
Herman enjoyed a big day at the plate. He doubled plating a run in the 1st
inning, tripled scoring a run in the 3rd inning, hit a single in the 5th
inning and doubled in the 7th inning. Barn finished with 11 hits while Daisy
Hill ended up with 4.
Jon Matlack(10-1) got credit for the victory, pitching 7 innings and allowing
1 run. Verdell Mathis(7-6) was charged with the loss. Barn scored big
getting 7 runs off him in 4 and 1/3 innings.
