Willard Brown slammed 3 homeruns and had 9 RBI as the Its Now Or Never smashed
the overmatched Daisy Hill Blockheads, 20 to 10.
Brown punished Daisy Hill with his bat. He bombed a two-run dinger in the 2nd
inning, lofted a three-run 'big-fly' in the 4th inning, popped a two-run
clout over the fence (his 17th of the season) in the 6th inning, delivered a
base-hit which scored a run in the 6th inning and singled knocking in a run
in the 8th inning. Its Now Or provided plenty of action in the 2nd inning
when they had 6 runs on 4 hits and the 6th inning with 10 runs on 12 hits.
Despite scoring in 5 separate innings, Daisy Hill could not get the win.
Dutch Leonard(10-5) went 7 innings allowing 10 runs for the win. Gary
Nolan(7-6) was the losing pitcher. He was touched for 3 homeruns in his 1
and 2/3 innings of work.
