Willard Brown smacked 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI and Pete Alexander tossed a
complete game as the Its Now Or Never topped the Barn Stormers by a score of
9 to 4 at Stars Park (NeL).
Brown helped send the fans home happy. He blasted a solo shot in the 3rd
inning and cracked a two-run shot (his 45th of the season) in the 8th inning.
Its Now Or simply wore out the Barn pitching staff, scoring in 6 different
innings.
Alexander(16-19), allowing 4 runs for the game, picked up the victory. Charley
Radbourn(9-25) was charged with the loss. He was knocked around pretty good,
giving up 7 runs in 6 and 2/3 innings.
